About us
Helen is a recovering academic. She hails from New Zealand and enjoys hiking, travelling, and the ocean. She is obsessed with her cats and speaks French. Sarah grew up in Sydney but spent most of her adult life in Brisbane. She is an Enrolled Nurse who loves gardening, lollies, and spending time with her family. We escaped from Brisbane to the Sunshine Coast in early 2022.
OUR SERVICES
Breakfast
A hamper is provided to cook your own breakfast. The hamper offers eggs, bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes, and cheese and is accompanied by yoghurt, juice, bread, and condiments with tea, real coffee, sugar and choices of milk.
Garden
Beautifully landscaped, the garden is an oasis of tranquillity with native vegetation and plenty of local wildlife and birds. Your only worry, to pick your favourite place and take in the fresh air and positive vibes.
Tesla Charger
Charge your Tesla vehicle with the onsite destination charger. 32 Amp, three-phase for fast charging. We ask that you vacate the spot once fully charged so others can use it.
Free Wifi & Netflix
Stay in touch with the outside world via our free broadband connection. We offer free access to Netflix and other sources of entertainment with smart TV's in each bungalow.
BBQ & Kitchen
A shared kitchen is available. There is also a BBQ on the deck where you can cook your dinner or breakfast and enjoy the spectacular views. Each bungalow has its own fridge, kettle, and tea and coffee facilities.
Restaurants and Provisions
The small township of Mooloolah (13 mins from Jetavana) offers a large IGA, liquor store, butcher, bakery, and chemist. The Eudlo General Store (9 mins away) has recently been renovated and is more of a cafe than a general store; it has an excellent menu and arguably the best pies in Queensland though they typically sell out before 2:00 pm. There are several restaurants in Palmwoods (15 mins from Jetavana) and Montville (23 mins). Maleny has the greatest offering of restaurants (35 mins via the steep but spectacular Brandenburg Rd).
We are 1.4 km (an easy, mostly flat walk) from the Chenrezig Buddhist Institute (chenrezig.com.au).
